First lessons with Michel Herr and Charles Loos in Liège (Les Séminaires de Jazz, 1982-1984), Jazz Studio in Antwerp (1984-1985). Academy Schaerbeek (1986-1987), but mainly autodidact since the age of six. Teacher at the summer-popworkshop for Halewynstichting since 1999 till 2016 in Dworp (Brussels).
